Ancient Pact®, ReMember: Deck One
is based on quotes and concepts from the award-winning, Ancient Pact®, Volume 1: The Element of Air. This deck of 52 Spiritual Contemplation Cards are 3.25" x 5.75" on durable card stock.
You do not have to read the book to benefit from these cards. However, you may find it helpful to know that Ancient Pact tells the story of a group of tribes who gathered thousands of years ago on a Summer Solstice morning to create a pact to be guardians of each other and the planet.

Basic Suggestions For Using Spiritual Contemplation Cards
Four suits explore lessons from the Element of Air:
All Is One, Only A Free Mind Knows Reality, Reality Is Greater Than Perception,
and
Karma Rules Until
Free Will Changes It.
Use these cards for personal query or with family and friends. Since there
are 52 cards in the deck, they are perfect for weekly contemplation.
However, they can also be used daily or to gain insight into
an issue you may be experiencing. Use them with your social or family group
to stimulate discussion or with your family as a way to bond or explore
issues in an easy and fun way.
Each suit has cards numbered one through ten plus three Inner Council cards.
The numbered cards explain and develop the concept of its suit
while encouraging
you to take positive action.
For example, if you draw a five "Reality is Greater than Perception" (see samples),
the card invites you to view any challenges as learning opportunities
and to explore five things to learn from the situation.
Inner Council cards relate to court cards (Jack, Queen, and King)
in a standard deck
and imply more power or urgency.
If you draw an Inner Council card, there may be a person or situation that requires
your immediate attention. Drawn in conjunction with other cards, they may
hint at your attitude or the attitude of the other(s) involved.
You may be tempted to quickly dismiss a card. If so, take a moment
to ponder if your ego has been stimulated.
This could be an opportunity to improve yourself, your life, or a situation.

"I really love this deck! Instead of giving answers, it provides information to think about and work on for oneself. This encourages the user to be responsible for his/her own actions, rather than looking to the deck to just give answers. Very useful tool, and I will be recommending it to my customers!"

There are minor count cards one through ten for each “suit” plus three “court cards”
called Inner Council. Similar to a tarot deck the Ones (Aces) of each suit represent
new beginnings and Tens of each suit represent completion of a cycle or situation.
The cards in between One and Ten mirror the aspects of the number cards in tarot.
Each card encourages readers to take positive action while
developing an idea related to its suit. In a reading, consider expanding
on the lesson of that card's "suit".
For the Inner Council cards, the qualities of pages and knights were fused to be a neutral
gendered Youthful Influence. Each suit also has a Queen and King Influence.
These cards can be more prophetic or combined with the other cards in the spread
to add more power or immediacy. This deck can be used alone in a spread for a reading or as an additional tool for a
practitioner. The simplest spread is a three card reading.
Exercise
First, relax into at least a five minute meditation
during which you clear
your mind of the day's mental activity. Some people find lighting candles, taking a hot bath, or a short walk helps settle the nerves and prepare for contemplation.
Once you are relaxed formulate a question that you
would ask. I might ask, "What do I need to focus on today?"
Questions requiring a "Yes" or "No" are difficult, if not impossible, to interpret. Rather, ask
open-ended questions that allow more freedom for the response to present itself.
Lay three cards from left to right with the left card representing the past, the middle card the
present, and the right card the future. Consider not only the explicit message of the cards but also relate that message to the specific "suit" or overall lesson of the card. For example, if you draw the 1 card suit "All is One" in the far left position, it might suggest that you have not always trusted your intuition and taken the time to enjoy the feelings of love and appreciation. You are part of an infinitely large "famly" and in your past you may have felt alone and disconnected from people who love and support you.
Free will can be used at any time to make positive
changes in your life. Always remember what you are... a spiritual being in the physical realm
capable of making your dreams come true.
